Gibbons Street Café is an inviting café with an advantageous location just across the road from Redfern Station. The space itself is light and airy, which makes it ideal for relaxing, meeting with friends or simply reading the morning paper. The décor is simple with an industrial feel, mixing wood floors with Edison lighting.
The wrap around glass windows create an open feel, perfect for watching passers by, while still escaping the city bustle. The café is 90 square metres and can seat 50 people. It is the perfect size to provide its customers with a cosy get away.
The menu has been carefully engineered to meet the criteria of being an infusion of Thai and Australian Dishes. The dishes have been created using a variety of ingredients to suit all tastes. Each dish is composed using the highest quality produce.
The café has a breakfast, lunch and drinks menu for those who have twenty minutes or more to spare and a take away menu for those on the go. The menu is both delicious, playful and artfully plated compelling every guest to take a photo to post on Instagram. The Instagram following has reached over 7000 followers and continues to grow.
